- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Stayed there for a weekend in July. I wasn't impressed by the place. I would rate it as just ok. There were no sewer hook ups, but they did have water and electricity which was nice. The site was a bit small and right on the water. It would have been scenic, however, there is a road and a guard rail right on the other side of the water so it made it feel as if you were just staring at a road with cars going by. Also, the campground was noisy. There seems to be industrial work near by and there were alarms (possibly a vehicle backing up) for most of the day. Then at night, there were trains. Lots of trains. If you're looking for a campground right in Perth for say just the weekend, this place would be acceptable for convenience sake. If you're looking to relax and have a quiet stay, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Also, I found it kind of strange they don't sell any firewood there yet you can't bring firewood from home.By Christopher Le Sage, June 06, 2017
